|General||A THURSDAY EVENING OF FUN FOLK & AMERICANA
Circus Mutt comes to us from Asheville, NC, bringing a "rootsy, funky, twangy twist to their songs and performances." It only takes a few seconds into any of their songs to find yourself tapping your foot and eager to learn the words. Mixing bluegrass with rock and roll, and adding dashes of jazz and reggae, they categorize themselves as "Appalachian Rock." Their ability to skillfully improvise keeps crowds guessing, makes each show a unique experience, and will have you begging for more! ///// Joining Circus Mutt is Winchester's own Banana Express Band. Incorporating fiddle, banjo, and mandolin into a variety of catchy tunes, these young musicians rank among many seasoned professionals of the genre. They are the next generation of Americana, easily compared to The Crooked Still and Furnace Mountain Band.
