Saturday, November 23 • 1–4 p.m. Meet Charles Thorne, author of Postcards of the Past: An Informal History of Life in the Shenandoah Valley from 1900–1950 as Seen on the Scenic Postcard during this Museum Store event. Thorne’s 128-page book tells the story of the Shenandoah Valley from 1900 to 1950 and is illustrated by 280 electronically restored postcards. Postcards of the Past is available for purchase in the Museum Store for $39.95. Admission not required.

Selah Youth Theatre Ensemble will perform in Who Is Viola Swamp?! produced by Selah Theatre Project. *All proceeds of this production will go to Smashing Walnuts Foundation to help advance their efforts of "Cracking the Cure For Childhood Brain Cancer".* Synopsis: Miss Nelson cannot control her classroom because she is just too nice. But when she disappears, her replacement is the hard as nails, detention loving, recess canceling, homework overloading substitute teacher Viola Swamp. With the Big Fish Academic Game Show coming to town, the kids suddenly realize how much they miss Miss Nelson and they will do anything, to solve the mystery of her disappearance and bring her back.
