Lillian Paulina Haymaker, 90, of Winchester, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019 in Leesburg, VA.

She was born May 21, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Robert Bernard and Eva Lawson.

She was married to Frank Hunter “Sonnie” Haymaker who is deceased.

Mrs. Haymaker was retired from Crown, Cork and Seal and was a member of Centenary Reform Church of Christ.

A son, Robert Bernard Ashby and a sister, Margaret Miller are both deceased.

Surviving are two daughters, Gail A. Grim (Daniel) of Berryville and Kim Mayle of Winchester; a son, William Carl Ashby (Elaine) of Woodbridge; seven grandchildren, Pam Sarvis (Ray), Billy Ashby (Tami), Brian Ashby (Jennifer), Jill Adams (Sean), Rachel Yerkie (Jake), Becky White (John) and Heather Basham (Richard); seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in Phelps Funeral Chapel, 311 Hope Drive, Winchester with Rev. Robert G. Stainback officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Richard Hawkins, John White, Trent Edwards, Danny Grim, Sean Adams and Jake Cave.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
