STEPHENS CITY — During warmups for Friday’s football game at Arrowhead Stadium, it was obvious Millbrook was going to have an uphill battle on its hands based on which players weren’t dressed to play.

Sherando and Millbrook enter tonight’s 7 p.m. Class 4 Northwestern District football game at Arrowhead Stadium with just one win between them, and the Pioneers haven’t played in two weeks after having to unexpectedly cancel last Friday’s game at Potomac Falls.
It would be easy for the Clarke County football team to have a letdown after last week’s big Bull Run District win over Central, but there’s no absolutely no danger of that in tonight’s 7 p.m. game.
Ripping through a non-district schedule with ease has been impressive for the Handley football team.

WINCHESTER — Following last week’s 220-mile trip to Pulaski County, the only local high school yet to play a home game this season is very much looking forward to playing at Kelican Stadium tonight.
The Sherando and Musselman (W.Va.) football teams have shared the same opponents the last two weeks, and one of them will finally get to go home with some smiles on their faces when they share the field with each other at 7 p.m. tonight at Waldeck Field in Bunker Hill, W.Va.
Clarke County had it pretty easy the first two weeks of the football season. The Eagles rolled 34-6 over Warren County and 69-0 over Manassas Park.
