WINCHESTER — The North End Summer Kickoff is being held from noon to 3 p.m. today at Frederick Douglass Park, 598 N. Kent St.

This is the second year for the free children’s event, which is hosted by Winchester police. It will feature food, basketball, cornhole, kickball, games and music. Police dog Riggs and his handler, Cpl. Sean O’Connor, will be among those attending.
